Lund Gård Kindergarten

This proposal for a kindergarten is located in Geilo, Norway. Laid around a central courtyard, the building includes covered as well as open outdoor spaces, while the main entrance has four different entrances, two for the older children on one side and two for the younger ones on the other. The four corners of the square gives the children an identity in order to know what their own entrance to the building is. The interiors are wooden, including the ceilings. Each play area is furnished with a floor-to-ceiling mixed cupboard and shelf area where the children’s toys can be stored easily.
